Rockies Game
We recently got box seat tickets to a Rockies game courtesy of Dani's big sis. It was pretty amazing, even though neither of us have ever been real fans of baseball. Un-American, I know. All that aside, we had an amazing time. There is nothing quite like being at a pro baseball game. The sounds, the smells. It's a whole new experience when you are there under the lights and the grass looks so soft and green. At the ballpark the magic comes alive and it starts to become apparant why America loves baseball. The point is, we had a blast! Thanks Melodie! So these were not just regular seats. They were box seats owned by the company Dani's sister works for. It was pretty cool to watch a game at
Coors field from our own private suite. AND...This is the best part...All kinds of food was provided! Brats, pizza, beer, soda, nachos, and more. I'm not sure what we enjoyed most, the game or the refreshments. To top it all off, we were allowed onto the outfield after the game to watch what turned out to be a
very impressive fireworks show. How many major league ballparks actually allow their fans to step foot on their field? It was so cool to lie on the outfield grass and watch the fireworks! They turned out all the stadium lights before starting the show. It was just amazing!! They shot the fireworks off literally 30-40 yards from where we were lying. I have never been that close to this type of fireworks before. Every explosion felt like one of my brothers pounding me in the chest, only rapid fire like a machine gun. Wow!Anyway here are a few pics taken at the game. I forgot my regular camera, so these were all snapped with my cell. Check 'em out.
