It's Official!!!
Below is a link to pictures from my Air Force commissioning ceremony. I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United State Air Force on Saturday, November 19. Yes that's right, I am now a commissioned Air Force officer.I was very honored to have my Grandma B there, as well as several other family members and
some of my good friends and co-workers. So what's next? I'll be off to Montgomery Alabama in January for Commissioned Officer Training (COT). After 4-5 weeks of COT we'll make the move to San Antonio.Click here to see the PICS

It was cool to be there for this ceremony. Tradition has it that the first one to give a new officer a salute receives a silver dollar. That caused some commotion around here. Not everyone has silver dollars lying around!
You'd better lose that earring and goatee boy...you're in the Air Force NOW!!!
