Deck The Halls

It's that time again. We got the itch to decorate last night...so we did. This usually consists of me assembling the tree and assisting in some of the decorating but mainly screwing around with the camera in an effort to get some good shots.

Game Day

On Sunday I got to take my Dad and my brothers to their very first Broncos game. The Broncos vs. The Jets. We drove up to Littleton and took the light rail in...which turned out to be not only convenient, but fun. Parking at the train station was free and total cost for an all day round trip ticket was $6.00.

Our seats turned out to be fantastic in spite of being in the nosebleed section. I really believe that Invesco is so well designed that just about every seat in the stadium is good.

You couldn't have asked for a better first game to go to. The Broncos dominated the Jets with a 27-0 finish. It was an exciting game too with 5 Jets turnovers. We all did plenty of jumping and screaming.

It's Official!!!

Below is a link to pictures from my Air Force commissioning ceremony. I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United State Air Force on Saturday, November 19. Yes that's right, I am now a commissioned Air Force officer.

I was very honored to have my Grandma B there, as well as several other family members and some of my good friends and co-workers. So what's next? I'll be off to Montgomery Alabama in January for Commissioned Officer Training (COT). After 4-5 weeks of COT we'll make the move to San Antonio.

Air Force News

Incase there are those who don't know: For the last 3 months, Sean has been going through the steps for joining the Air Force. We received the news this week that he has been accepted and we will be moving to San Antonio, TX in February!

Sean will serve as an Officer in the field in which he has his college degree: Critical Care Registered Nursing. He will leave on January 9 for four weeks of Commissioned Officer Training in Montgomery, Alabama, and will be working out of Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base once we move to San Antonio.

A few years down the road, he hopes to continue his education through the Air Force within the medical field. We are excited about these life-changing opportunities and look forward to traveling to new places as Sean receives different assignments throughout the years!
