Hey yall (That's Texas speak for "you all"),
Here are a few pics of our new apartment. Not much to see yet, since it is essentially empty at this point. Anyway, I know some of you must be curious to see what our new digs look like. So here you go.

Y'all can be singular or it can be plural for "you", but in order to avoid confusion southerners (which you now officially qualify as since you live in Texas, though you may have to live there long enough for your accent to be affected to be truly official), anyway, southerners will often use the term "all ya'll" which is plural for y'all. As in, "All y'all come on over to our house."
You are also now officially on the losing side of the Civil War, which is not called the Civil War in the south. I think it is The War for State's Rights, or The Great Patriotic War. Can't remember. We Yankees don't think much about this, but apparently southerners do and history is taught from a slightly different perspective. Such variety in the ol' U.S. of A.
Does the yellow go with all your stuff or are you repainting this week? Your shower curtain, which I assume if from your place in Colorado looks nice in the bathroom. The apartment is very nice. Nice first washer and drier. :) Do you have one bedroom or two?
The yellow goes very well with our stuff which has a lot of earth tones (reds, oranges, browns & greens). We have 2 bedrooms. The guest bedroom is the picture taken from the hallway showing a room with just a small dark box in it. We will use the guest room as an office/bedroom and hope to get a futon to put in there eventually.
It's so nice to see pictures of both of you in YOUR place! And nice to see your new washer and dryer. I told Buddy that Callie was in the wine cabinet and didn't have anyone to "pretend" fight with her. He didn't seem to concerned about it! Thanks for posting these!
We should take pictures of the new look in our basement and put them on the family site so you can see them I guess.
