Dani's Parents Come to Visit

We enjoyed a visit from my parents last weekend! We had quite the itinerary planned (not forgetting, of course, to schedule time for afternoon naps). We took them to the Starbucks where I work, then to Lackland Air Force Base to see where Sean works. We took them for a peaceful morning at the beautiful San Antonio Botanical Gardens and also to the Riverwalk. They also got to come to church with us and meet our friends there. It was nice to have them (as well as Buddy the dog) visit us for a few days, although kind of cramped in our apartment. Apartment living can have it's benefits however - I think dad enjoyed working-out in the clubhouse weight/exercise room and taking Buddy for walks along the dog-walk sidewalks in the mornings while everyone else was still asleep and we all enjoyed grilling and having snacks out by the pool.
