Values Voters
We didn't vote during the recent elections. Maybe we felt too frustrated with current politics, maybe we didn't want to be part of the decision making for a state we haven't lived in for very long. Whatever our excuse might be, we must say that we are genuinely pleased with the statement made by those who did vote. The link below is an article that has an enlightening take on what happened last Tuesday at the polls. . .

Thanks, Sean. I had not seen that article, and I feel that it is exactly what happened. What a shame that the Republicans squandered their opportunity to get something really accomplished. And, why did President Bush wait until AFTER the election to remove Rumsfeld? If he had done that earlier, it would have changed to outlook for Iraq--another big hot button for voters.
It is a good article. Sean showed it to me last week, and I decided to go ahead and post it. The article is from the website, feed://feeds.feedburner.com/godspolitics. It expresses a lot of views that are more like how we've come to view politics etc.
Oh, how I miss you guys!!! I agree - the article is right on - showing that not all Christian values can be summarized by Focus on the Family. A recent article in Newsweek gave me the same hope - that we're not the only Christians that don't identify with the religious right. Thought I'd share - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15566389/site/newsweek/. Enjoy!

Fantastic article. I decided it needed a post of its own. Thanks, Ali.
