Humming Birds

More fun with my new camera. We spent this last weekend in Austin with Jackie and LD. While in Austin, we had the good fortune to enjoy Jackie and LD's backyard on Sunday morning. I have posted a few shots of their backyard guests dining on a meal of nectar at the hummingbird feeder. These were taken with my Nikon D50. I did some minor color correction to the photos but I didn't do any photoshopping. I think this pretty cool for my first stab at some very fast-moving targets.

The Problem With Christian Music

I ran accross this story in the "Slices" section of Relevant. The author of the article is a Christian and a music editor for the Chicago Tribune. The point of the article is essentially that Christian music will continue to be of inferior quality as long as it stresses Agenda over Art. Short but poignant.

South Padre Island

Well we just got back from a fabulous weekend in South Padre Island. We had a itinerary full of fun stuff thanks to Dani's meticulous planning.
