Email from Sean

I got an unexpected email from Sean this morning! It was great to hear from him. Here is some of what he said. . .

I am in Al Udeid, which is only a short flight away from Balad. We have to wait for a couple days to get our flight into Balad.

I am very jet lagged. We spent over 20 hours flying. The flight was actually pretty good. Good food. I think we ate 5 meals on the plane. We made stops in Iceland and Budapest, Hungary. We had several in-flight movies. I was over 24 hours without sleep after I arrived here. I just woke up from a 4 hour nap, which is the only sleep I've gotten since 3:15 AM on 8/13. It is 6:15 PM on 8/14 as I type this, it is about 10:15 AM your time.

It is brutally hot here. It has been quite a while since I have sweated like this. Good times.

Besides the jet lag, it's great to hear that Sean is enjoying the adventure. Nice that he could surprise you with a little email.
We think of you often, Dani, and when you get back from Colorado, we'd love to have you come to Austin for a visit. We have a lot of extra room now. -Patti Chesney

Sounds like you are seeing some cool places...ICELAND. Twice I have been invited to Prague and it feel through. Jet lag is so individual. Best I have found is: 1) exercise helps 2) forget your homeland time zone, convert immediately. 3) Stay away from caffeine & sugar eat healthy...basic stuff.

I was in Vegas once when it was 115 degrees...I think it is even hotter where you are so I can't even imagine...can you fry eggs on the sidewalk?

Love you...can't wait until you get back and we can go have fun! Melo X0
