You just gotta love those Air Force issue shorts--not at all like cargo shorts, are they? You "not excited" picture was great.
Who would have ever thought you would be standing in the heart of where so much of the Old Testament occurred? Should bring big portions of the book to life--you know the terrain.
The sandbags around your housing surprised me, but then I realized, of course you've have sandbags--more protection. Your quarters look cool, dark for sleeping in the day, and adequate for the task. Nice you've got iced coffee nearby.

Wow! It looks like your side of the room is somewhat neater than Fontana's. Is this lovely housing area about what you expected? "Home away from home," huh?
Hurrah, only two blocks to the hospital? Originally, wasn't the tent one further away?
