A Trip To Washington

Hey folks. I recently took a trip to D.C. to scout our living situation and take a look at the school where I will be studying anesthesia. While I was there I stayed with a buddy (Capt Spencer) and his lovely family. It was short trip and with the help of Spence and his wife I knocked out my objectives on the first afternoon, leaving me with an entire day to sight see. So that is precisely what I did. I hopped on the metro and enjoyed a nice forty minute ride down to the capital. Anyway. I thought you all might enjoy some of the photos I snapped.

Great pictures! You guys will get to enjoy this season together there next year! In the meantime, you will see it in summer, fall, and winter and show it off to friends and family who come! I know you'll both be glad when you are there and settled in!

Sean, I really am impressed with the way you expressed so much in the art of taking those pictures and in relating so well the expressions written, especially about war. I have thought a lot about what you witnessed in Iraq and how that must have affected you. I have prayed for you and for the others who have to see all the ugliness of war. Sean, you all continue to be in my prayers. Thanks for expressing your feelings through these pictures!

Thank you for your beautiful, artistic presentation of what you saw in our nation's capital. Those who have seen war hate it the most. You an artist and a thoughtful man, Sean. Wasn't it wonderful to find these writings in stone in our capital, written by others who feel the same way.

Couldn't get on here for a day or so, but today I clicked the link for the school! How beautiful. I was glad to see that since you didn't have those pictures.

As your old teacher, I wanted to see your curriculumI for 2007/2008 but it freezes up.

The big migration begins Tuesday, I guess!

Love and hugs and safe travel,
xo
