Weekend at Lindy's

I spent this past weekend with my niece Lindy! She lives just 3 hours north of us in Langhorne, PA which is near Philadelphia. It was so much fun to hang-out with Lindy and to see where she lives and works! It was a wonderful weekend, and we are looking forward to the next time we can get together!!

Below is a slideshow of our weekend activities. To view the pictures in a larger format, click on the "View All Images" option at the bottom of the slideshow window. This will take you to a separate page where you can have a little more control over how long, and in what order, you are able to view the pictures in their larger size. Enjoy!

It has been so fun to get to know Lindy again, now that we're both adults! We discovered that we have quite a few similarities and it was nice to be able to connect in this way. I'm glad she shared her time with me this weekend!

Ahhhh! What a blessing to see two special loved ones enjoying each other so much! It was also fun to Lindy's part of the world! What a lovely apartment, isn't it! And, that dinner! Wow! Looked like something from an expensive restaurant!! I was going to e-mail and ask about it! Pictures are even better!

Love and hugs,
xo

The dinner included whole wheat spaghetti pasta, fresh mozzarella, raw spinach, fresh tomato and basil (Lindy has a basil plant). She ran cold water on the pasta before adding the other ingredients and then sprinkling each serving with balsamic vinegar and lemon juice. It was a tasty, light meal!

Lindy and Danielle - two of my favorite young women! Drew, Lori, Austin, Kyrstin, and Keely! More of my favorite people! Great pictures! Thanks for posting them. You and Lindy both have such an eye for beauty in food and decorating. It really shows in these photos.

Yes, Lindy does have a very lovely apartment! It was a nice atmosphere to relax and be comfy in and I really enjoyed my time there. And, she had all the kinds of foods I enjoy! I was happy to discover that she and I share similarities in what we consider to be the comforts of home.

Glad you liked the movie I sent! I've added it to our Netflix list so I can see it too. It sounds very lovely and very funny! Oh - In case anyone is wondering, the movie is "The Importance of Being Ernest".
